This Privacy Policy describes how Numerroo (ABN: 11915428611) collects, uses and protects personal information in Australia when you use our website at numerroo.com.au, the Numerroo Forecast app (including invite-only client workspaces and private betas) and related tools such as FP&A mini-games. It is designed to align with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It is general information only and not legal advice.
1) Personal information we collect
We collect personal information reasonably necessary for our functions and activities, including:
- Contact and business details: for example, your name, email, phone, company, role and billing details when you make an enquiry, engage our services or join a private beta.
- Account and workspace details: if you access a Numerroo Forecast client workspace or app (for example as part of a private beta), we may collect login details, workspace and configuration information.
- Usage information in Numerroo Forecast: such as which features you use, basic telemetry about app performance, tenant or workspace metadata and similar operational information so we can keep the service running and improve it.
- Game scores and preferences: if you choose to save scores or join a leaderboard for FP&A mini-games, we may store a display name, email and aggregate scores.
- Technical & usage information: such as device type, browser, IP address, general location, pages viewed, referral source and interactions with our site and tools.
- Information from third parties: for example, referral partners, professional networks or public sources, where lawful.
2) Why we collect it (APP 3)
We collect, hold and use personal information so we can:
- provide and improve our services (FP&A advisory, fractional CFO support, dashboards, forecasting and the Numerroo Forecast product lab)
- operate this website, the Numerroo Forecast app (including invite-only client workspaces and private beta environments), FP&A mini-games, content and any associated client workspaces
- communicate with you, including support, onboarding, updates and if you opt in, occasional marketing or product news
- analyse usage, improve performance and understand how our tools are used
- comply with our legal obligations and manage risk, security and fraud prevention.
3) Cookies, analytics & direct marketing (APP 7)
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, performance and analytics. If we send electronic marketing, we do so in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in our messages or by contacting us.
4) Data flow & service providers (APP 8)
We use reputable providers to host our website and apps, deliver content, manage emails, handle analytics and support operations. Some providers may process information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle personal information in line with the APPs.

6) Access & correction (APP 12 & 13)
You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information held by us. We will respond within a reasonable time. If we refuse, we will provide reasons as required by the APPs.
7) Data breaches - Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme
If an eligible data breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will assess promptly and, where required, notify affected individuals and the OAIC under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
8) Third-party links
Our website and tools may link to third-party sites or services we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own; we encourage you to review their policies.
9) Children
Our services and tools are designed for business and professional users and are not directed to children under 15.
